After reviewing the code of ethics, these are the three that stood out to me.
P-1.2—We shall care for and educate children in
positive emotional and social environments that are
cognitively stimulating and that support each child’s
culture,
language, ethnicity, and family structure.
I-1.5—To create and maintain safe and healthy settings
that foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and
physical development and that respect their dignity
and
their contributions.
I-1.1—To be familiar with the knowledge base of early
childhood care and education and to stay informed
through
continuing education and training.
As educators, it is also important that we continue to increase our knowlege. We should be informed of all issues that involve the early childhood profession.
Hi Ashely,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your post, the fonts used however were making it hard to read.
I particularly like your comments on contineously training, if we are to remain relevant, we need to "Sharpen our swords more often".
Thank you
Florence
Hi Ashely,
ReplyDeleteRachel Hendrix Here, I wanted to start out by saying this semester I truly enjoyed the introduction to you personal life, professionalism, and your goals for the future. You are really paving the way and setting a tremendous example for your niece and other family as well:)(I know they are proud). So hopefully since we are both pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education we will probably have 1 or 2 more classes together, if not GOOD LUCK and Take Care!!
Rachel Hendrix
